Well it looks like the tide slightly shifted this past weekend at the ///Relaxed Atmosphere Show, Sunset took club participation with apporx. 21 vehicles!

Well since this is little area, maybe I’ll be the first to add some “meat” to this site.

As everyone knows this past weekend (March 27th) was Dangerous Toyz 6th annual show – Dangerzone! For those who are wondering were all the “custom” rides are, they’re in Cen Cal. This year’s event pull a tad over 1000 vehicles (yep, 1K!) about 200 less than last year. This year Dangerous Toys thought they would try something different and do “Top 100” awards, which I believe SunSetSD very own Nick took home a plaque. Not everyone was happy on how the trophy presentation went, but Mike from DT was open to a few ideas I tossed his way as well as Brian from Forbidden. Oh and for those wondering, Nokturnal took club participation…

I didn’t get a chance to check out the show, but did see the coverage Donald from Truckrun.net has up as well as Bryan from Socalcustoms.com. With all of the bad ass rides at this event, let me tell you, I don’t know what they are feeding the women up there, but God Bless ‘em! When you have lovely ladies walking around at 7AM in “hooker heels…”, bravo, you got my attention!

Most of us when going to this event, make a weekend out of it. As for me, I was up at the park on Friday to drop off my trailer, checked in and was off to M.C Customs (Chris “Dirty” Lacy from Acrophobia’s shop) to hang out and house hop from member to member, cosuming some nice beverages. Saturday evening after the long day at the show, we returned back to the shop for their annual DZ after party. . join the fun as well as Kricket from and several other new faces throughout the night.

If you missed this show, you’re in luck, Down 2 Earth is having their first annual show – Earth Day on April 24th. Why don’t you make plans to join several of us that weekend and experience a different side of our scene.
